This Privacy Policy describes how IDP Gaming Zone ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information related to the products we sell, including wireless video doorbell cameras and related smart home devices. By purchasing our products or using our website, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: When you place an order, we collect your name, shipping address, billing address, email address, phone number, and payment information through Shopify's secure checkout. We do not store your full payment details — Shopify handles all payment processing.

Information collected by our products: Our wireless video doorbell camera (Model P52) collects and processes the following types of data when in use:

  • Video and audio recordings: The doorbell camera captures video and audio when motion is detected or when the doorbell is pressed. This includes live view footage and recorded clips.
  • Motion detection data: AI human detection processes visual data to identify whether a person, vehicle, or animal is present at your doorstep.
  • Device usage data: Timestamps of doorbell rings, motion events, app connection logs, and device status information (battery level, WiFi connectivity).
  • App account information: When you create an account through the doorbell's companion app, your email address, app login credentials, and device pairing information are collected.

Information collected automatically: We use cookies and tracking technologies (including the Meta Pixel) on our website to collect browsing data, device information, IP address, and pages visited. See Section 5 for details on tracking technologies.

2. How Your Doorbell Camera Data Is Used

Video, audio, and motion data collected by the doorbell camera is used for the following purposes:

  • Providing real-time alerts to your phone when someone rings the doorbell or motion is detected
  • Enabling two-way audio communication between you and visitors at your door
  • Storing video clips in cloud storage (if you subscribe to the optional cloud storage plan) for event review and sharing
  • Improving AI human detection accuracy through aggregated, anonymized pattern recognition

Your camera's core features — two-way audio, AI human detection, live view, and instant alerts — work without any subscription. Cloud video storage is optional and requires a separate subscription.

3. Cloud Data Storage and Encryption

If you choose to subscribe to cloud storage, your video recordings are stored on encrypted cloud servers operated by the doorbell's manufacturer (HK EKO Electronics Limited). Video data is encrypted using AES-128 encryption both in transit and at rest.

  • Free trial: A one-month free trial of cloud storage is included with your purchase. You can cancel at any time.
  • Data retention: Video clips are retained based on your subscription plan's storage window. When your subscription ends or a clip exceeds the retention period, it is permanently deleted.
  • Access control: Only you (the account holder) can access your stored video clips through the companion app. We do not view, share, or sell your video recordings.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through our website and store for the following purposes:

  • Processing and fulfilling your orders
  • Sending order confirmations, shipping notifications, and customer support communications
  • Preventing fraud and detecting unauthorized transactions
  • Improving our website, product offerings, and customer experience
  • Complying with applicable laws and regulations

5. Tracking Technologies and the Meta Pixel

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on our website to measure ad performance, understand visitor behavior, and optimize our advertising. The Meta Pixel collects:

  • Pages you visit on our store
  • Actions you take (viewing a product, adding to cart, initiating checkout, completing a purchase)
  • Your IP address, browser type, and device information
  • Cookie identifiers for matching visits to ad campaigns

This data is shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. for ad performance measurement. You can control Meta's use of your data through Facebook Ad Preferences. You can also opt out of targeted advertising through your browser settings or the Digital Advertising Alliance.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information or your doorbell camera footage. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Shopify: Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes your order and payment information. See Shopify's Privacy Policy.
  • Meta (Facebook): Website visit data is shared with Meta through the Pixel for ad performance measurement.
  • Doorbell manufacturer (HK EKO Electronics): If you use cloud storage, your encrypted video data is stored on their servers. They do not have access to your order information.
  • Shipping carriers: Your name and shipping address are shared with the carrier fulfilling your order.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation.

7. Data Retention

  • Order data: We retain order information for 5 years for tax and accounting compliance.
  • Doorbell video data: Retained based on your cloud storage subscription. Deleted when the subscription ends or the retention window expires.
  • Website tracking data: Meta Pixel data is retained by Meta according to their data retention policies.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights under applicable privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act):

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information
  • Opt-out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for advertising purposes
  • Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information

9. Doorbell Camera Privacy Considerations

Important: When installing and using your wireless video doorbell camera, please be aware of the following:

  • Recording others: The doorbell camera may capture video of visitors, delivery personnel, neighbors, and passersby. You are responsible for complying with local, state, and federal laws regarding video recording and audio surveillance on your property.
  • Two-party consent states: Some states require all parties' consent to audio recording. Check your local laws before enabling two-way audio or audio recording features.
  • Audio recording disclosure: In states with two-party consent laws (including California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Washington), you must inform visitors that audio recording is active. A visible sign at your door is recommended.
  • Neighbor privacy: Position your camera to capture your own property and entryway. Avoid pointing it at neighboring properties or public spaces where people have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
  • Cloud storage: Video stored in the cloud is encrypted with AES-128. You control who can access it. We do not access, view, or share your footage.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website and products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website or products after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
